How do you prepare for an adventure as large as this? The paperwork, money, phone calls, planning, and so much more all wrapped together into a very intimidating to-do list. It can all be done, but time and effort are essential to being successful. So, I started planning. About six months ago I decided I wanted to study abroad. I strived for adventure, sun, beaches, excitement, and Australia seemed the perfect fit.

When finalizing my packing before departure, my mind raced around the idea of leaving my family, friends, and life in Fort Collins behind. None of my life as I knew it would be within reach as I jump into the unknown. What would I find when I arrive? What people would I meet? How hard will the University be? Where will my travels take me? These questions will lead me to new experiences where I will grow and form amazing stories and adventures along the way. The minute I step off the plane onto the sunny coast, I will be Knee Deep in Australia.
